Espresso Basics Workshop - 5/10/23

Event Type: In-Person Workshop Date: May 10, 2023 Time: 5-7 pm CST  During this workshop, participants will learn how espresso is prepared and what distinguishes it from other brewing methods. Participants will also learn the variables involved in espresso preparation - including dose, yield, temperature, pressure and others - and how the careful manipulation of these variables can result it positive flavor characteristics.  After a brief introduction and lecture, participants will have 90 minutes to learn from expert baristas on two models of espresso machines, and apply their new skills through hands-on application.
