Units are (presumably) companies of infantry, cavalry and artillery. The game has Standard Rules and scenario specific Exclusive Rules. Standard Rules cover the game system and include things like movement, fire combat, melee combat and rallying. Exclusive Rules are special rules that apply to the scenario in question. Each game has one 22" by 17" map and a countersheet with 100 counters.
