They have a very focused sound with a very warm tone and tend to be on the lighter side due to the narrower shape. It is important to note that the points above are all relative. As with all of our reeds, we prioritize a good balance of intonation, tone quality, response, and articulation across all registers. Each professional oboe reed is handmade to order, and undergoes a multi-day finishing process.
