Poppy Pattern Shadow Lamp

This one of a kind hanging lamp adds an elegant rustic touch to kitchens, porches, bedrooms or bathrooms. I make these from those big tacky popcorn tins that seem to come around every Christmas. What better way to upcycle them to a functional, beautiful enduring piece of modern folk art? I use an oxyacetylene welding torch and cut the patterns freehand. After torching, I scrub them up with a wire brush and apply a clear acrylic coat to enhance the burnished dark tin patina. Available in 2 sizes: -Comes ready to hang with the perfect shadow bulb and your choice of an 12 foot black plug in cord, or a hard wire kit complete with 3 feet of vintage style black twisted cord, and a 5 inch black ceiling plate with all hardware included. -Small shade measures 8 inches tall by 6 inches wide. -Large shade measures 12 inches tall by 10 inches wide.
