Hugo Table

The Hugo Table is the first in a series of objects in a collaboration between Johnston Marklee & Schneider Luescher. The objects share a formal cumulus language that is vertically extruded and allow for non-directional placement. Heavily textured sides require a process of hand-packing concrete, rendering every piece truly unique. The Hugo series is designed as indoor/outdoor furniture. Part of the magic of our concrete is its resilience; it can endure atmospheric conditions with grace. Our exterior-graded products are thoughtfully designed to work in dialogue with elements of the outdoors. While in use, they allow people to enjoy the company of each other and of nature, but they work equally as quiet sculptures in a landscape.
