Late 19th century arched cast iron summer cover from New York, NY.  Measurements: 15"W x 26.5"H x 1"D.   Marked on back, "SS Bent 412 East 26th St NY No 220."  Samuel S. Bent and Sons produced iron works and furniture in New York.  Scrolling ironwork mimics the beguiling beauty of a doorway to a secret garden. Blooming flowers peek around the cover and tendrils of leaves curl like fingers that beckon one to discover the lush botanicals and secrets hidden within.  This cover has been sandblasted and powder coated in a matte black finish for durability and easy maintenance.
