Late 19th century arched cast iron surround from New York, NY.  Measurements: 36”W x 35”H x 3”D.  Inside: 19.5”W x 27”H. Marked on back, "J.L.Jackson No. 96 New York."  Jackson Architectural Iron Works was a prominent business established in 1840. Many of the beautiful cast iron 19th century building facades in and around New York will bear the name Jackson.   This a two-piece frame with an arched surround attached.  Decorative scrollwork with grapes and acanthus leaves adorn the edges.  Does not include a summer cover. This surround has been sandblasted and powder coated in a matte black finish for durability and easy maintenance.
