Mid 19th century cast iron surround insert from France. Measurements: 32"W x 34.5"H X 4"D. Inside: 19.75"W x 24"H. A concave form with meticulous detail features intricate lattice work throughout. The top portion is embellished with swags of garlands and a center cartouche featuring musical instruments. Ideal for a smaller LouisXV or Pompadour style mantel. The surround insert has been sandblasted and powder coated in a matte black finish for durability and easy maintenance.
