The Amherst Mantel Shelf is a classic wood fireplace mantel shelf and is available in standard lengths. This high quality mantel can be made in MDF, Poplar for Painting, Poplar for Staining, Pine, Maple, Oak and Cherry for staining (wood types and finishes). You may choose to receive your fireplace mantel shelf unfinished or with a professionally applied paint or stain of your choice. You will find that each of our mantel shelves are easy-to-install. Wood mantel shelves include simple instructions and mounting board (wood screws are included).Note: To ensure the lowest possible price and fastest delivery time of our unfinished Valueline Mantels and Shelves, simple prep-work will be required on site. Spackling paste will be necessary to fill in nail holes. Fine-grit sandpaper will be needed for light sanding around the filled-in holes.
