Our 7th Year with Honduran Coffee Alliance We have worked with Sean and the folks at the Honduran Coffee Alliance since 2019 and the coffee we direct source with their help have always been amongst the most popular coffees on our shelves.  In the last six years, we featured the Honduras Princesa Diana but the farmer, Edwin Nicolas, had to sell his coffee early this year and we decided to go with another lot that we had used last year. This year's coffee is the Galeas Family Microlot and is a woman produced lot.  This coffee comes from Merlin Medina Galeas, her sister Jeny and their mother María. Their story is one of hard work and perseverance, where parents sacrificed so their children could build a better life. The Coffee This is a super tasty, washed processed coffee is a great example of a classic Honduran coffee flavor profile. It’s a mix of Catuaí, Lempira and Parainema varieties.
