These wheels are lightweight yet hold high weight capacities and are also non-marking. They also are washable, impervious to water, and highly resistant to solvents, oils, grease, most chemicals, and cleaning solutions. These wheels do not flat spot over time like softer tread wheels. It is because of these many features and economical price point that plastic wheel casters are very popular. The stainless steel on this caster significant extends the life of the caster, especially in wet environments.
