Asymmetric necklace - a dynamic form in dark sterling silver and fluid gold mesh. Vintage metal mesh drops are carved from an iconic Whiting & Davis purse (circa 1940s-1970s), the edges then hand-linked with oxidized sterling silver chain. Joinery around the mesh elements is carefully soldered/welded chain-to-chain, drawing smooth, uninterrupted lines throughout the work. Necklace measures 17" around.
