It is NOT a high definition camera and must be used with a CVBS capable DVR to record. If you have a newer security DVR, it will most likely be able to view and record in multiple video formats.  Most new DVRs automatically detect CVI, TVI, AHD and composite video formats.  Make sure to check your DVR before purchasing this camera. We build these cameras here in different high video formats. Some have white LEDs and some have infrared LEDs. The video format cannot be changed on the camera. You must purchase the camera in the video format you need.  This camera is CVBS and has NO LEDS. The best possible picture would be to use a composite video DVR.
