Textured High-Carbon Chefs Knife
Hand-forged from 52100 steel, this one's got a rugged texture and a chunky thickness that ditches the usual bolster for something different and the razor sharp cutting edge is just shy of 9". The hollow-ground handle, crafted from a gorgeous piece of Redwood Burl, feels super comfortable. I can custom-make one for this knife if you'd like to add a leather sheath. You can find that here. Note: The patina on a high-carbon knife is truly beautiful and unique, much like a snowflake—no two are alike. It's a sign of a well-used, well-loved knife. Over time, the blade will develop a natural patina and darken with use. However, be aware that it may stain if acidic food residue isn't promptly removed. Find care instructions here.
