Made with mortise and tenon joinery and finished with natural compounds that react with the inherent chemistry of the wood. Hand-rubbed with a durable oil finish. Based in the Catskills, New York, Castañeda works with northeastern woods, selecting each tree individually. Her delicate yet sturdy works are inspired by the inherent balance found in nature.
