Made with mortise and tenon joinery and wire-brushed to reveal soft texture and open grain. Finished with natural compounds that react with the inherent chemistry of the wood. Hand-rubbed with a durable oil finish. Based in the Catskills, New York, Castañeda works with northeastern woods, selecting each tree individually.
