Sterling Silver Banana Leaf Artisan Earrings Leaves Hoja de Platano Organic, silver, hand pierced Sterling banana leaves! Beautifully pierced and hammered by me! Each leaf hangs from long handmade sterling silver earwires. Very light weight dangles and unique. Each earring measures approximately 2 inches long from top of the earwire to the bottom of the leaf. Banana trees adorned our mountains all along the island. Initially brought by Spanish merchants and African workers during the 16th century.
