Torre Alle Tolfe Chianti 2022

Where: Tuscany, ItalyGrapes:  80% Sangiovese, 20% Canaiolo + CiliegioloBody: MediumCategory: Red Wine  This is an overdelivering Chianti , with perfectly encapsulated fruit and just the right amount of supporting grip.  Maceration lasted a month. Aged for one year in cement.   2022 was a particularly outstanding vintage for this wine – satisfying and fun to drink, even on its own. Plush ruby in color, with aromas of rose, raspberry, and delicate spring violets. Dark forest fruits and a rich, full body quench the palate without heaviness.
