Coral and Vermeil Pendant Necklace

The coral shows beautiful natural texture and has a lively pinkish red-orange hue. The bail of the pendant features a stamp ".925" indicating sterling purity of the metal below the gold layer. This pendant is paired with an 18” gold-filled chain, which fastens with a spring ring style clasp.  What is "vermeil?" Vermeil is a techniq
