Topaz and Gold Earrings

These vintage earrings feature two beautiful emerald cut colorless topaz stones, each set in an a polished 14 karat gold bezel setting; earrings secure to the ear via a French wire. The root word of topaz traces to the Sanskrit term for “fire.” Ancient Greeks believed that topaz gave its wearer strength. Renaissance-era Europeans believed topaz could dispel charms and dissolve anger.
