Compostable Toothbrush

Toothbrushes have come a long way through the years. We started out chewing on sticks, then we used wooden brushes with natural bristle, then we used plastic brushes with natural bristles, THEN we used plastic brushes with plastic bristles...then we realized "Gee, these last forever" and we started using bamboo brushes with plastic bristles which is a step in the right direction. The problem with most bamboo toothbrushes today is that you still have to throw away all those plastic bristles. At Marilla's we are always looking for 100% plastic free, so we've decided to bring it all the way back to the basics (no, not a stick) and offer wooden toothbrushes with natural bristle instead of plastic. This way, when you need a new brush, you can COMPOST the entire old brush instead of snapping the head off and composting just the handle.
