Pink Spinel East West Ring

I fell in love with this stone's rich, deep, pink color immediately and knew it had to be set in a ring. Spinel comes in a range of colors from deep red (historically many famous "rubies" were misidentified and were actually spinels) orange, blue, purple to deep black. They are a durable stone, an 8 on Moh's scale of hardness, so an ideal candidate for a power ring like this!  This emerald shaped, step cut beauty measures 9.7 x 5.6mm and weighs 2.50ct. The ring is crafted from 18k gold, the stone is bezel set horizontally (or East-West) and I chose a knife edge band to compliment the angles of the stone.  Mined in Mozambique and cut in Australia by Tatum Gems.  This one of a kind ring is ready to ship in size 6.5.  Available for resize 5-8.5, please note required size in notes and allow 3 weeks for this service.
