  All of our anchor’s designs are tested to measure their holding power. we perform our tests using the same seabed location and conditions, so you can compare “apple for apple” when estimating the size of the anchor you need. This chart shows what Viking Anchor model should be used on which size and weight of SAILBOAT. Normally motorboats will need less holding power comparing to sailing boats, and sailing catamaran needs more holding power than sailing monohulls.
