This is the patch for Dragon Flight 55, who flew Hueys in Korea.  4" Patch, without hook & loop. The 55th Aviation Company based out of K-16 South Korea. They were first activated in 1951 as the 8055th Flight Detachment. They officially changed to the 55th Aviation Company in June 1960. Their main mission was to provide support to the Eighth Army, the United Nations Command, and the US Embassy. They flew both Rotary and Fixed Wing aircraft, that included the OV-1 Mohawk and the UH-1 Huey.  Dragon Flight was the "unofficial" designation for the unit. Key Features:1.
