The Boston Fern, also known as the Sword Fern, is a popular houseplant due to its low light requirements and attractive foliage. The foliage of this fern is a deep evergreen. Like other fern species, the Boston Fern is a fairly slow grower and is best planted in the fall or spring. ☀ Light : Thrives in low to medium indirect light. Due to its sensitive leaves, too much light can result in burnt leaves. Water : Prefers moist soil. Allow the water to run out the bottom of the pot, water again once the soil feels barely moist. + Plant Tip : To keep the leaves of the plant shiny, use warm soapy water occasionally to clean the plant’s leaves.
