Explorers

The waiting colorful skiffs tied up on the beach in this protected cove held the promise of adventures to be had. They just looked poised for a day of exploring the hidden coves, funky old cabins and sheltered beaches that make Alaska’s coast my favorite place. I painted this on a chart of nearly the entire inside passage chart early this spring while waiting for the weather to get underway on a fishing trip. I hope it makes you feel like exploring.
