Thick Slab Leather Samples

Our thick, slab leather products are crafted by using heavy, 1/8" thick leather and omitting the chipboard entirely. Our slab leather menu boards are made by taking two pieces of the thick leather and simply laminating them together so both sides of the menu board have the same leather finish. Once the two pieces of 1/8" thick material are laminated and sewn together, the resulting product is slightly flexible, while still being able to support itself under its own weight. Our slab leather covers are made in much the same way, either laminated together with two pieces of thick leather, or if a contrasting material is preferred, we can use one of our many book cloth options for the inside. The added stitching not only adds to the durability, but also offers an additional way to customize the product by using contrasting stitching colors, often chosen to match the logo foil color.
