It features a perfect large twin beautifully positioned on a matrix of smaller rutile and kyanite crystals. While not shown in the photos, there’s a small blue gem kyanite on the left side that adds an enjoyable detail. The more you study this piece, the more remarkable features you discover. It's truly a geological wonder, both for the species and the locality.Joe Swartz was a passionate systematic collector with a primary focus on thumbnails. Over 40 years, he honed his expertise through in-person shows and books. Sadly, the original tags were lost to water damage, leaving us only with his handwritten notes. A great deal of time and care has gone into preparing this collection to be passed on to fellow collectors.
