What we have here is a stunning example, with two larger crystals beautifully perched atop well-bladed barite crystals—a rarity for this locality. What makes this piece even more special is the interruption on the left corner of the main crystal. Despite this disruption, the crystal persisted, completing its perfect structure. It's an inspiring piece, showing us that even nature can overcome challenges. Although public production at this locality ceased in 1923, it has recently been operated as a specimen mine for artistic purposes.
