The Chancellor Based on the Marshall Guv'nor, the BYOC Chancellor kit is another true-bypassed version of one of the designs from Marshall's fantastic early big box era series pedals. The Shredmaster was a full on distortion. The Blues Breaker was a quintessential overdrive. The Chancellor lies somewhere in between. The best word to describe this pedal is crunchy. It's like having a cranked JCM800 full stack in a box. The BYOC Chancellor is true to the original circuit, but with true bypass, higher quality components, and half the size.
