The competition series is built based on our previous standard katana geometry which was commended by the martial arts community as the best cutter out of the box. While maintaining all our standard sword aspects such as perfect cutting ability, excellent balance, and high quality fittings and mounting, we took it one step higher by creating an extremely durable sword that is only 5.5 mm thick (0.21 inches). With a weight of 2.2 lbs or less, our competition katana minimizes joint and muscle stress while allowing the user to wield the sword at a much increased speed.
