Beauty & the Beast, 1977

"Beauty & the Beast" is a serigraph created by Erté in 1977. From the edition of 390, the artwork is signed 'Erté' lower right. The image size is 18 x 14" and the artwork is framed in a contemporary black frame. The artwork ships framed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The artist created the image after a June "Harper's Bazaar" cover as a maquette. As well as this beautiful design later inspired a bronze sculpture entitled "Beauty and the Beast". This work is published by Chalk & Vermilion Fine Arts, an affiliate of Martin Lawrence Galleries, no prior ownership.
