"Bracelets" is an expertly crafted, embossed serigraph on paper with foil stamping and an image size of 20.25 x 9.5". From the edition of 650 and is estate-stamped 'Erté' lower right. Framed in a classic 'reed and ribbon' gold-tone moulding. The artwork ships framed and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Erté’s twenty-two-year association with Harper’s Bazaar sparked the creation of innumerable fashion designs for some of the world’s most glamorous women. Among his many ingenious creations were designs for jewelry and fashion accessories. The true beauty of each of the images lies in their delicate simplicity and the originality of their design. The original designs for the serigraph suite ‘Fashion and Jewelry’ were created by Erté between 1922 and 1924, the same period in which he was heavily involved in designing costumes and stage sets for theater and opera in New York and Paris. Clearly infected by a sense of drama and playful eroticism, these images are a culminat
