"Ermine Brocade" is an embossed serigraph with hot stamping created by Erté in 1987. From the edition of 580, the artwork is signed 'Erté' lower right. The artwork is framed in a classic, gold-tone frame and has a framed size of 48 x 38.5". The artwork ships framed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. "Ermine Brocade" was derived from an original evening coat design for Poiret in 1913 and redrawn for Harper's Bazar in 1913. This beautiful design later inspired a bronze sculpture entitled "Ermine Brocade". This work is published by Chalk & Vermilion Fine Arts, an affiliate of Martin Lawrence Galleries, no prior ownership.
