"Le Viol (Vollard Suite, B.142)" is an etching created by Pablo Picasso in 1930. Roger Lacouriere was commissioned to print an edition which consisted of three signed copies on parchment, 250 copies on Montval (~13.5 x 17.5, watermarked 'Vollard' or 'Picasso'), and 50 copies on Montval paper watermarked 'Papeterie Montgolfier a Montval' (~15.25 x 19.75"). First offered for sale in 1950, delayed by WWI and Vollard's death in 1939. The etching comes signed and with a certificate of authenticity.
