She grew up in Poland and came to Hawaii ten years ago after completing law school in her home country. She is one of Poland's top woman high jumpers and is also a classical violinist. Edyta's sign post paintings are a whimsical expression of the delight of life in Hawaii. For this painting she constructs an actual signpost and then paints it.
