Girl With Her Doll

Original - Oil on canvas 16"x 20" I was inspired by a photo of this young girl walking along with her doll tucked on her back. It was a black and white photo and I added the colors to enhance the realism of the moment. The background is from my imagination letting her pass through greenery to a sunny path as she leads her family to market. I particularly love the slight glance back she gives to the viewer.
