Maruvian Human Element

Original - Oil on gallery wrap canvas 24" x 24" This was an experiment to see if my Plastic Space would translate the human face. I had fun working this painting of no one in particular. It is a play of the human facial structure mixed with the influence of African design and symbols. There are some African Mask techniques applied as well. I did play with the variety of skin tones found in our culture. It is a fact finally admitted by scientists that all humanity came from Africa.  So with this in mind, I applied the many skin tones within the spectrum of these faces.
