American capitalism is sailing toward stormy waters.    Economic data eerily similar to the post-2008 financial crisis keeps on rearing its head. The scourge of inflation is still eating away at our wallets, and almost one million workers have lost their jobs since the start of the year. Meanwhile, the capitalists are rejoicing in a bonanza fueled by debt and the tech bubble. When it bursts, the impact on the world economy will overshadow previous crises.   Both parties’ ratings have plummeted. Trump is sending ICE into cities all around the US to intimidate workers and distract from his failed promises.
