Pink Tourmaline Stacking Ring

Ready for some tea? I tried to make this ring for my first Monthly Drop last month, and I totally failed. Whoops! I made the wax for it, but when we went to cast, we realized the wax wasn't exactly right so... back to the drawing board! Sometimes that's just how it goes. Just always doing my best to keep it real and transparent over here.  Now, the story of the stone - I went to the Tucson Gem Show in 2024 for the first time, and man was it a cool experience. I saw gems of all sizes, shapes, colors, and qualities, and my brain felt like mush by the end of it. But Ranna and I also met some very cool people! One of which was a stone cutter from Virginia named Thomas. He'd been cutting really stunning gemstones for decades, and the stones he presented very much represented his expertise.
