These boards are made with good quality solid aromatic cedar tops for a nice true playing surface. I build the frames with solid aromatic cedar as well for a sturdy and durable product. These are very sturdy boards with no bounce and consistent speed. I spray these boards with minwax polycrylic water based gloss clear coat to match the playing surface of my pro style Baltic birch boards.
