"The Stars Down to Earth" is a soft sculpture created in 2017 to celebrate connections. This textile sculpture is also a reminder to pause, appreciate, and listen.  I wove it from textiles I gathered from locations around the world. After years of introspection, I started transforming textiles into new narratives, to be infused with your memories.In 2013, I embarked on a symbolic performance. I bundled my essential possessions and pulled them through the streets of New York City. These performances illuminated the significance of these items: from their origin in the depths of the Earth to their production and distribution.
