Solidago canadensis Canada Goldenrod features showy yellow and gold blooms clustered around tall stems. It is often found planted in fields, meadows, and gardens due to its ornamental nature. In addition to its beauty, Canada Goldenrod is a native perennial that attracts pollinators such as butterflies and honeybees. It has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties, and is used in herbal medicine for overall immune system support. Its leaves can be used as a tea, which tastes very similar to green tea.  Contains 100 seeds   Planting tips: Sow seeds in cell packs or flats, press into soil and barely cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70°F., seedlings emerge in 14-21 days. Transplant into the garden 12-18 in.
