When choosing the exterior fabric and interfacing consider how structured you would like the bag to be.  Canvas and foam will provide the greatest structure Quilting cotton with SF 101 and fusible fleece will provide the least and the bag will look somewhat slouchy.  Oxbow Tote Interfacing Kit can be purchased here. Waxed canvas requires no interfacing and provides a medium amount of structure.   Depending on your machine 2 layers of foam may be difficult to sew through.  Check where you are purchasing your supplies to check out the feel and thickness of your choices. The requirements must be done before class.  There will not be time in class to complete these steps.
