STRONG, SEAMLESS PROTECTION AGAINST THE ELEMENTS Cat 5 is a single-component, silyl-terminated polymer (STP) air and waterproof barrier that’s applied with a sprayer or roller to create a seamless, highly durable elastomeric membrane. Designed for use on exterior sheathing, CMU backup walls, and precast concrete, Cat 5 prevents air and water penetration—even under the extreme 155-mph winds of a Category 5 hurricane. Use Cat 5 as the primary air barrier over above-grade structural surfaces prepared with PROSOCO Joint & Seam Filler and FastFlash. Cat 5 is solvent-free, phthalate-free, and isocyanate-free, and complies with all VOC regulations.
