Seigaiha Matcha Bowl

Directly translated, seigaiha means “blue ocean and waves” and refers to the traditional Japanese design made of rows of ocean waves that form a fan-shaped pattern. Seigaiha symbolizes the desire for peaceful living, like tranquil waves. These bowls were created in collaboration with Julie Hadley (@jshadley27), a Manhattan-based ceramist.
