Completed in 1926, at the time it was considered one of the finest hotels in the area. What attracted me most to this matchbook wasn’t so much the hotel, but rather the bar element of the “Oil Zone Cocktail Lounge,” which is such a cool name for a cocktail lounge given the history of oil production in the area.
