Located between the Garrick Theater on 64 West Randolph Steet and the Moulin Rouge Nightclub at 54 West Randolph, the Ham n ’Egger was a 1940s/1950s era Downtown Chicago diner. From its bright neon façade featuring a pig & chicken speaking on the phone to its “farm fresh” menu, the Ham n’ Egger was a beloved Chicago institution until its closure in 1961 when the Garrick Theater was demolished.
