Swayze BBQ was located at 2004 Main Street in Houston and was started in 1944 by Donald Ray Swayze with the support of his brother Jesse Wayne Swayze (father of Patrick). After Donald’s sudden passing, the business was taken over and brought to new heights by his wife, Jane. After her retirement in the early 1970s, Swayze BBQ closed forever.
