This ring has a "crater" with a 6g Argentine Campo del Cielo iron meteorite buried within. Electroformed copper, medium width band Size 8 One of a kind, not-replicable, textured, bronze patina Specimen is 4.5 billion years old! Origin: Campo del Cielo, Argentina / Space Meteorite composition: 92% iron; 6% nickel, 2% trace minerals Handmade by us, and the universe.  Each is one of a kind: Meteorites are natural and the setting is individually hand-sculpted Due to the high iron content, a clear protective finish has been applied to help prevent rusting. It’s not good to be bossed around by your projects, but like old buildings, sometimes they tell you what they want and they do know best! Originally this was going to be all a dark gunmetal to merge seamlessly with the meteorite, but this texture was pretty bossy. Something special happened, and it had other ideas and demanded center stage with this dreamy texture and gradient! Electroforming and patinating results are each a black art
